- 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Garlic, minced
- Black Pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped basil (or whatever herb you have on hand)
Instructions
- Combine in a small bowl the balsamic vinegar, mustard and garlic and whisk to blend.
- Add the oil in a slow, steady stream, whisking constantly until smooth and blended.
- Season with pepper and stir in the basil.
