My go-to balsamic vinaigrette.  Simple.  Flavorful.  & soon to be your go-to!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Garlic, minced
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped basil (or whatever herb you have on hand)

Instructions

  1. Combine in a small bowl the balsamic vinegar, mustard and garlic and whisk to blend. 
  2. Add the oil in a slow, steady stream, whisking constantly until smooth and blended. 
  3. Season with pepper and stir in the basil.
