& that's a wrap! Reflecting on my time @baptisthealth over the past 7 years.

*I love teaching nutrition (especially to kids) & have a ton of fun!
*From planning to executing programs, we worked our butts off some/most days!
*Grateful to have met amazing co-workers that truly have touched my life (& I hope to have touched theirs as well!)
*Fortunate to have met a few *famous* people along the way that are as nice & humble as can be.
*The class where I taught just one family was just as important as the class that I taught over 250. (that little boy's smile says it all).
*Dietitians are part of an interdisciplinary team and do WAY more than just 'tell people what to eat'.
*I make a ton of facial expressions (& def can't hide what I'm feeling - I have been told I'm passionate once or twice!)

The list could go on, but suffice it to say, I'm forever changed & know I made an impact each and every day in the lives of so many patients. However, as bittersweet as it is, it's my time to move on. Ready for the next challenge and adventure. It's not goodbye, but 'see you later'! 🍍💚

Technically 'National Farmers Market Week' was last week, but there's still time to sign up for a CSA! In South Florida there are more than 30 farmers markets operating every week. How cool is that?

Farmers markets are essential. Sure in the summer not as much grows here in Miami. But we're so lucky to have all this tropical fruit (so no complaining about the heat and humidity!) Farmers markets bring communities together. They provide nutritious food. They help support local farmers. Not to mention that they also help contribute to the wellbeing of our planet!

One way to help support local farmers is through a CSA - community supported agriculture. Sign-ups are happening now (a few are tagged). What better way to help support farmers and benefit from all the nutritious foods!
