- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
- Combine in a small bowl the lemon juice, mustard, and garlic and whisk to blend.
- Add the oil in a slow, steady stream, whisking constantly until smooth and blended.
- Season with black pepper and stir in any herbs you’re using.
