- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a mason jar. (You can also whisk in the olive oil to help with emulsion, however, mixing in a mason jar with the Dijon mustard and/or mayonnaise does the trick).
- Cover and shake vigorously. OR as mentioned above, once all herbs have been added to a bowl, stream the olive oil in and whisk to combine.
- Taste the dressing and adjust to your personal preferences. One way to taste test is by dipping a lettuce leaf into the dressing vs a spoon.
