Scale
- Ice
- 1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
- 1 ounce passion fruit liquor, The brand I used is Passoã
- 1 ounce passion fruit purée
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1 ounce (or 2 ounces) Prosecco
- Sliced fresh passion fruit, for garnish
Instructions
- Prep your passion fruit purée. Whether you buy a frozen version or have fresh, the idea here is remove the seeds. This can be tedious with fresh, however, know you can leave them in. You simply ‘slurp’ them down as there is no chewing the seeds.
- Add in a cocktail shaker full of ice the vanilla vodka, passion fruit liquor, passion fruit purée, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup.
- Cover with the lid and shake vigorously for 15 to 30 seconds. When your hands start to feel very, almost painfully cold, that’s when you’ll know it’s ready. This is *key* to creating a perfectly cold drink with that beautiful froth.
- Pour the drink into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
- Garnish with a passion fruit half. *optional*.
- Serve with a shot of Prosecco alongside (or pour into your drink).
